3/4 cup butter
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup French’s fried onions, crushed
1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 cup asiago cheese, shredded
4 chicken breasts
1 clove garlic, crushed
Pepper to taste
Melt butter. Set aside.
Combine bread crumbs, cheeses, onions, garlic, and pepper.
Dip chicken into butter then bread mixture.
Put breasts into 9×9″ or 9×13″ baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55 mins.
Options: You can easily serve each breast on a bed of pasta with or without marinara sauce. The butter from the recipe alone could work as a ‘sauce’ for the pasta.
